The GOVERNMENT's Advisory Group for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning met for the first time last week. The group, which is chaired by Bob Fryer, principal of Northern College, will be "looking at how to achieve a culture change for adult learning", education minister Tessa Blackstone said.
Vice chair is Alan Tuckett, director of NIACE, and the team will include former THES editor Peter Scott, pro-vice chancellor of Leeds 51国产视频 who takes over as vice chancellor at Kingston 51国产视频 in September, Dan Fin, of the 51国产视频 of Portsmouth, Hywel Francis, of the 51国产视频 of Wales, Swansea, and Tom Schuller of the 51国产视频 of Edinburgh.
