Nexus International 51国产视频 was established in 2011 by accreditation of the Ugandan National Council for Higher Education. It was originally named the Virtual 51国产视频 of Uganda but was renamed in 2010 when the first vice chancellor, Professor Deirdre Carabine, was appointed. 
The university is located in Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. 
Academically, the university is organised into six faculties: business administration and management, computing and information technology, energy, global and development studies, public health and medical sciences, law, and education and humanities. Within each faculty are different departments, which offer a wide variety of degree programmes at both undergraduate and graduate degree level. 
Outside the classroom, students can participate in the university’s vast array of extracurricular activities. 
Throughout the academic year the university carries out a range of research projects and community outreach projects, designed to contribute to the socioeconomic development of the region.

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) is a School of King's College London and the largest academic community in Europe devoted to the study and prevention of mental illness and brain disease. About the role:

We have exciting positions for two research assistants to work on several projects that highlight the involvement of people with lived experience and to support the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) advisory groups. Projects require both qualitative and quantitative skills and are varied. For example, ongoing projects include, how service users can influence projects, the effects of digital therapies and how data are shared. The postholders will also support service users research advisory groups within the Patient and Carer Involvement Theme of the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (?maudsleybrc.nihr.ac.uk). The work is varied and will require some flexibility in time allocation and in type of research. Individuals with first-hand experience of using mental health services are encouraged to apply.?

These are full time posts (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Research staff at King’s are entitled to at least 10 days per year (pro-rata) for professional development. Description of HTMR entity

The High Throughput Multidisciplinary Research (HTMR) laboratory aims for an interdisciplinary, diverse and cross-cutting approach to an entrepreneurial ecosystem directly related to its industrial and socio-economic environment in Morocco and Africa. HTMR provides highly automated and parallel approaches to the development of new materials and processes. HTMR allows scientists from all UM6P research community to develop automated workflows that ultimately increase precision and efficiency and reduces the time and cost involved in their development pathways. The wide expertise developed by the researchers working at the HTMR, plays a pivotal link between the initial proof of concepts and the consolidation of the results and their viability. Requirements

The Department seeks to appoint a Research Assistant Professor with expertise in philosophy of AI and/or ethics of risk. Candidates should have a PhD in Philosophy (or related disciplines) by the start of the appointment and a record of publications in Philosophy, preferably in leading journals.

Candidates should have obtained/been conferred a PhD degree or an equivalent qualification for no more than five years prior to the commencement of the appointment. The appointee is expected to conduct focused research in philosophy of AI and/or ethics of risk, publish scholarly outputs in respectable refereed international journals, and apply for competitive peer-reviewed grants offered by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council, other local/overseas competitive grants and/or fellowship schemes. Teaching experience at both undergraduate and taught master’s programme levels is a definite advantage.

Research: The Research Assistant Professor will (i) carry out research and submit papers to top journals in the field of philosophy of AI and/or ethics of risk (e.g., including 3*/4*-ranked journals as per the current departmental journal list); (ii) submit grant proposals to various funding bodies; (iii) organize seminars, reading groups, workshops or other related research activities (especially in relation to new departmental initiatives); and (iv) provide support to the research community of the Hong Kong Catastrophic Risk Centre (HKCRC).

Teaching: The teaching load will be three courses per year, distributed according to the needs of the Department and upon mutual agreement. English will be the language of instruction.
