It was licensed by the National Universities Commission as a private university in 2002. 
The faculties of arts and education, science, law, social and management science, and basic medical and health sciences are based in Benin City with agriculture and engineering at the Legacy campus opened in the Okha district in 2020.
The university has strong sporting traditions. Ifeomi Onyekwere won a bronze medal in men’s super-heavyweight boxing at the 2022 Commonwealth Games while Marvelous Asemota won both women’s sprint events at the Nigerian 51国产视频 Games.

?About Careers and Student Enterprise:

The primary function of the Careers & Student Enterprise Service (CaSE) is to support the 51国产视频 in the delivery of its highly ambitious graduate outcome targets through the provision of highly integrated, holistic CaSE provision both within and co-to the curriculum which supports students in achieving their employment ambitions from the moment of enrolment, through their period of study, and in the first 15 months post-graduation and beyond.

About the Role – Graduate Success Manager

As Graduate Success Manager, you’ll work closely with the Associate Director of Graduate Success to design, deliver and evaluate targeted support for final-year students and recent graduates. About Us

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Assistant to join our TRANS-FOODS research programme, which investigates how babies become allergic to foods in early life. This post supports two studies (one observational and one interventional) to investigate the immune response and microbiome signatures in early life in relation to atopic eczema and baby massage. Both studies are led by Professor Carsten Flohr, Chair in Dermatology and Population Health Sciences at King’s College London.

About the role

The Research Assistant will provide high-level, proactive, comprehensive and efficient technical and administrative support, in particular to the Clinical Studies Manager and for the Unit for Paediatric & Population-Based Dermatology Research. This role involves leading on patient recruitment and data entry, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. The post-holder will also support with the preparation and presentation of research findings to colleagues for review and discussion. A key part of the role will also involve supporting regulatory and ethical compliance, including maintaining proper documentation and ensuring study activities adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant guidelines.

This role will suit a candidate with excellent IT and organisational skills who can work accurately, with close attention to detail in a busy environment. The successful applicant will be able to work both independently and as part of the wider study team, demonstrate a flexible approach to work and meet deadlines using initiative and judgement to prioritise competing demands. In addition, they will have very good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31st July 2026.

The requirements of the post would be to be present in the office for 3-4 days a week, depending on study activities, which can be reviewed after 6 months. This will have to be approved by the Line Managers keeping in line with the King’s hybrid working model.

Research staff at King’s are entitled to at least 10 days per year (pro-rata) for professional development. This entitlement, from the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers, applies to Postdocs, Research Assistants, Research and Teaching Technicians, Teaching Fellows and AEP equivalent up to and including grade 7. The Role

Applications are invited for a Research Assistant (RA) to support the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) research project titled "Ochre-Based Phosphate Removal in Wastewater Treatment: A Feasibility Study on Supply Chain, Economic, and Environmental Impacts."

This project will evaluate the economic and environmental feasibility of converting ochre waste into iron salts for phosphate removal in wastewater treatment. You will investigate supply chain ramifications and dynamics, logistics optimisation, economic viability, and environmental impacts to ensure commercial sustainability and regulatory compliance. Your tasks will include:


	Evaluating supplier relationships, market effects, logistics dependencies, and long-term resource availability.
	Developing an optimised supply chain model, including supplier roles, sourcing locations, and material flow strategies.
	Optimising transportation, storage, and processing efficiency by integrating inventory management, material handling, and reverse logistics strategies.
	Evaluating suitable contract mechanisms for commercial adoption.
	Conducting a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of the ochre recovery process and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations (e.g. heavy metal limits).


The successful applicant will work alongside the project PI, Dr Nail Tahirov, Prof. Atanu Chaudhuri, and Mr. Chris Jones from project partner Northumbrian Water Ltd, as well as Prof. H. Chris Greenwell, and Prof Gavin J. Bridge.
