The clinical and health subject ranking uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ Rankings 2024, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields.

It highlights the universities that are leading across medicine, dentistry and other health subjects.

This year¡¯s table includes 1,059 universities, up from 1,001 last year.

The UK¡¯s 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Oxford leads the table for the 13th consecutive year. But the US is the most-represented nation in the top 10, with five institutions.

These are: Harvard 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ in second place; Stanford 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ in fifth; Johns Hopkins 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ in sixth, after being 11th previously; Yale 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ in eighth; and the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Pennsylvania in 10th, up from 15th.

Tsinghua 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ in China, which ranked fifth last year, slides down nine ranks in this year¡¯s table. King¡¯s College London in the UK, which was 10th last year, drops to 13th this time.

The Italian institution Campus Bio-Medico 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Rome is the best-performing of the new entrants, placing in the 301-400 band.
