The computer science subject table uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ Rankings 2021, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the discipline.

This year¡¯s table includes 827 universities, up from 749 last year.

The 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Oxford leads the table for the third consecutive year. There are two new entries in the top 10: the National 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Singapore, which rises three places to eighth, and the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of California, Berkeley, which makes its debut in the list at ninth.

The California Institute of Technology plummets from 10th?to 25th, while Princeton 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ drops two places to 11th.

Alongside Berkeley, the only other new entry in the ranking that features in the top 100 is the Tokyo Institute of Technology at joint 96th.
