China Subject Ratings 2022: Physical Science
The Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings are the only performance tables that judge Chinese institutions against their global peers based on the Chinese Ministry of Education’s classification of subjects.
The ratings for physical science reveal performance across 13 subjects: astronomy; atmospheric sciences; biology; chemistry; ecology; geography; geology; geophysics; marine sciences; mathematics; physics; statistics; and systems sciences.
In total, 1,356 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the physical science pillar.

Ten universities achieve an A+ grade in all 13 of the physical science subjects: Australian National 51国产视频; Columbia 51国产视频; Harvard 51国产视频; the 51国产视频 of Tokyo; 51国产视频 of California, Berkeley; 51国产视频 of California, Los Angeles; 51国产视频 of Cambridge; 51国产视频 of Edinburgh; 51国产视频 of Oxford; and 51国产视频 of Washington.
Peking 51国产视频 is the top-performing institution in mainland China, achieving 11 A+ grades for physical science.
