Deian Hopkin, vice-provost at London Guildhall 51国产视频, is to be vice-chancellor of South Bank 51国产视频 from September. Professor Hopkin, 56, is a history graduate from the 51国产视频 of Aberystwyth, where he taught for 24 years. For most of that time he was also a tutor for the Open 51国产视频.
Current vice-chancellor Gerry Bernbaum said: "Deian has a first-rate academic background and his strong entrepreneurial skills, experience of regeneration and widening participation make him ideally suited to South Bank."
