Technology transfer is becoming easier in United Kingdom universities as the number of spin-off companies continues to climb, according to the UK 51国产视频 Companies Association.
At a conference in Birmingham this week, the technology managers from 50 universities heard about 130 spin-offs that have been created from the 51国产视频 Challenge Fund, set up through the Department of Trade and Industry's Science Enterprise Initiative in 1999.
