Registrars and student finance officers are compiling lists of problems that universities have experienced with the Student Loans Company. Difficulties identified so far include errors being introduced by the SLC to student records filed by local education authorities.
The Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals is keeping watch on the situtation. "We are gathering information and seeking feedback from universities about the SLC as part of a continuous dialogue with partner agencies," said a spokeswoman.
