A group of 26 students at Liverpool Hope 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ will take part in an international volunteering programme. The team will spend between two and four weeks abroad, helping with schemes ranging from a child-focused community development project in Romania to work with non-governmental organisations in southeastern Brazil. The university's Global Hope scheme intends to make lasting contributions to developing or deprived communities and build long-term relationships with local people. Alice Bennett, service and leadership award and scheme co-ordinator at Liverpool Hope, said: "This is a unique university-led initiative that enables students and staff to take part in life-changing voluntary projects in developing global communities."
