Solo spaceship unveiled
Space fanatic Steve Bennett today unveiled what could become the first privately piloted spaceship, Nova, which is 10m high and can take one person into space. Mr Bennett is managing director of Starchaser Industries, based at Salford 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ.

Equal opportunities appoints commissioner
Rowena Arshad, director of Edinburgh 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ¡¯s Centre for Education for Racial Equality in Scotland, has been appointed commissioner with special knowledge of Scotland by the Equal Opportunities Commission.
