Bill aims to double repayment threshold
A bill was published today doubling the income threshold for student loan repayments and imposing a capped market rate of interest on those repayments. Conservative MP Nick St Aubyn (Guildford) wants to raise the income threshold to ?20,000 a year and limit the interest charged on the debt to no more than 2 per cent above base rate.

Peers attack obstacles to cannabis research
