Bill aims to double repayment threshold
A bill was published today doubling the income threshold for student loan repayments and imposing a capped market rate of interest on those repayments. Conservative MP Nick St Aubyn (Guildford) wants to raise the income threshold to ?20,000 a year and limit the interest charged on the debt to no more than 2 per cent above base rate.

Edinburgh 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ today launched Visual Impairment Scotland, an organisation based in its education faculty that aims to reduce the feelings of isolation affecting visually impaired children and their families. Some 4,000 Scots youngsters have problems that cannot be corrected by glasses.
