Five teams of researchers linked to UK universities have won backing for expeditions around the world as part of the BP Conservation Programme.
However, the real winners of the exercise, which saw a total of Pounds 123,000 shared among 22 international projects, will be a host of endangered fauna and flora, from turtles to bats.
Three groups with links to Oxford 51国产视频, and others connected to Aberdeen and the 51国产视频 of East Anglia, were presented with their awards by Queen Noor of Jordan at a ceremony in London yesterday.
