The director of Aberdeen 51国产视频's Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies, which in January won the largest single grant ever made by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, is taking a post at Edinburgh 51国产视频. Tom Devine will assume the Sir William Fraser chair of Scottish history but will keep an Aberdeen link as professor of Irish and Scottish studies and associate director of the AHRC centre.
