British Academy announces Rising Star Engagement winners

The British Academy has announced 34 awards for early career researchers under its new scheme

March 28, 2015

Worth up to ?15,000 each, they have been given to scholars active in organising interdisciplinary events for other young researchers.

Their expertise covers fields ranging from energy ethics to mediaeval multilingualism, the shadow economy to “the middle-income trap”, addiction and culture to peace-making in Sudan.?

Activities planned include a network of researchers chosen to present their work via podcasts and a multi-disciplinary salon-style forum for debate.
