The government is seeking new members for its main science, engineering and technology advisory body. Science minister Lord Sainsbury, making the announcement, said interested individuals from academia, research, business and other relevant walks of life who had the time, experience and enthusiasm to take part were invited to apply to join the soon-to-be-overhauled Council for Science and Technology. The closing date for nominations is October 1.
