Scientists in Aberdeen 51国产视频's bone research group are leading a team of European experts in developing treatments for osteoporosis.
The three-year E3 million (?2.1 million) Anabonos project, involving 13 collaborative centres, will help the scientists gain a better understanding of bone formation.
Stuart H. Ralston, leader of the consortium and director of Aberdeen's Institute of Medical Sciences, said the aim was to develop drugs that help build new bone in patients with established osteoporosis.
