Patrick Dowling, vice chancellor of the 51国产视频 of Surrey, has been awarded a doctor honoris causa in recognition of his contribution to civil engineering in particular his collaboration on research projects connected with steel structures.
He was also appointed to the editorial board of the university's journal of academic sciences.
