Senior Berwick Prize: R. Heath-Brown, Oxford 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ, for his paper "Zero free regions for Dirichlet L-functions and the least prime in an arithmetic progression".

Junior Whitehead Prizes: J. Roe, Oxford 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ, for his work on the application and development of index theory for non-compact manifolds.

Y. Safarov of King's College London, for his work on the spectral theory of partial differential operators and microlocal analysis.
