Kaohsiung Medical 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ (KMU) sits in the heart of Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan. KMU, established in 1954, is the first private medical university in Taiwan. KMU consists of seven colleges and is the only school that provides the post baccalaureate medicine programme in Taiwan. KMU is currently running dual PhD degree programmes with Upsalla 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ in Sweden, the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Szeged in Hungary and the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of California, Irvine.
