Crichton campus. Ted Cowan will be Glasgow 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ's new head of operations at Scotland's first multi-institutional campus at Crichton.

Crichton, the estate of a former psychiatric hospital, houses Glasgow and Paisley universities, Bell College of Higher Education and Dumfries and Galloway College.

The professor of Scottish history at Glasgow succeeds Rex Taylor as director. He said: "My twin aims are to raise the excellent research profile of Crichton staff and the campus as a whole, while attracting more students."

Anna Waugh, lecturer in mental health nursing, Bell College. Formerly a liaison mental health nurse in Yorkshire.

Carol Wilson, lecturer in adult nursing, Bell. Formerly head of nursing at an independent fertility and gynaecology unit.

Rex Taylor, director of Glasgow's Crichton campus and associate dean of the faculty of arts, is retiring.
