For the first time in its 98-year history, the Nobel Committee for Physics has appointed a woman - Cecilia Jarlskog, professor of theoretical particle physics at Lund 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ - as its chair. The Swedish committee comprises five delegates, who sit for three years.
