Bath Spa 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ College has been granted university status by the Privy Council and given the go-ahead to call itself Bath Spa 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ. Frank Morgan, its vice-chancellor, said the new institution planned significant expansion and strengthened international links over the next decade.
