A research team has secured €370,000 (?300,000) from the European Commission for a project on data-search technology.
Working as part of a €4 million collaborative project with German technology firm SAP, the team at Sheffield Hallam 51¹ú²úÊÓÆµ aims to improve the World Wide Web and allow users to sift through more data, get more relevant results and save time when searching. Sheffield Hallam said its involvement will ensure that it remains a leading centre of research on technology and business intelligence.
