BLACK women who apply to train as nurses are more likely to be rejected without interview despite their qualifications, according to 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Plymouth researchers. The researchers reached their conclusion after analysing applications and ethnic monitoring questionnaires at all nurse training institutes in England between 1993 and 1996.
