Sufferers from the eating disorder bulimia nervosa may soon be treated more quickly thanks to Bob Palmer, senior lecturer in psychiatry at Leicester 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ. He is studying 160 sufferers to see if a short dose of therapy when the disease is first diagnosed is more effective at returning sufferers to normal eating patterns than a longer programme.
