Tove Bull, rector of Tromso 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ, Norway, has been elected leader of the Norwegian 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ Council for a three-year period. She succeeds Lucy Smith, former rector of Oslo 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ. Ms Bull will lead the national collaboration between Norway's universities and the science-based university colleges.
