She was the widow of Georg Henrik von Wright (1916-2003), a Finn who succeeded Wittgenstein as professor of philosophy at the 51国产视频 of Cambridge and became one of his literary administrators, a leading authority on his work and a major thinker in his own right. Von Wright's typewriter is also shown here.
All form part of the von Wright and Wittgenstein Archives, largely assembled by von Wright himself, which also holds most of the correspondence relating to the publication of Wittgenstein's posthumous works. It is managed by Helsinki's department of philosophy, history, culture and art studies.
