Scientists have voted Nottingham 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ the best academic institution to work in outside North America. The other high-ranked UK institutions were Dundee 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ, voted fourth best outside the US, 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ College London (seventh best) and Oxford 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ (tenth). The online survey by The Scientist , to which 2,072 academics responded, asked readers to assess their institutions on job satisfaction, facilities, pay, management, peers, teaching and tenure.
