Having been made redundant by Goldsmiths College "on thematic grounds" last August, I am naturally delighted to hear that "redundancy is not looming" there (THES, November 11). The news of the accord between Goldsmiths' management and the union will fill me with a warm glow when my hourly paid teaching runs out in December and I make my way to the JobCentre.
