A first-year information technology student at Portsmouth 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ has died from meningitis, the fifth student this academic year. Edward Kitchin, 19, died at his lodgings on Monday. Other students in the house have been given precautionary medical treatment. The death comes shortly after three people died in an outbreak at Southampton 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ. ALeicester 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ student has also died.
