Winning smiles abounded at the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2010 last week.

The event, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, was attended by more than 1,000 people. They saw the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Derby win the night's most prestigious award for Outstanding Leadership and Management Team.

Other big winners at the ceremony, hosted by comedian Alexander Armstrong, included the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Sheffield and the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Exeter, which each took home a brace of awards.
