RCN predicts nurse shortage
Staff shortages will put the government's plans to modernise the NHS at risk unless the chancellor delivers billions of pounds of investment, the Royal College of Nursing warned today. A report produced by Queen Margaret 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ College, Edinburgh, found 24 per cent of registered nurses are set to retire in the next five years.
