Moving one's eyes from side to side for 30 seconds can boost memory by up to 10 per cent, Andrew Parker, a psychologist at Manchester Metropolitan 51国产视频, has found. Horizontal eye movements are thought to cause the two hemispheres of the brain to interact more with one another, boosting the brain's ability to retrieve memories. Dr Parker also detected improvement in different types of memory: recognition and recall.
