A lecturer's expertise on The Beatles has contributed to an encyclopaedia on the Fab Four.

Stephanie Piotrowski, a media studies lecturer at Teesside 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ, researched the evolution of the band's image and performance for her PhD, focusing on The Beatles' five feature films, from A Hard Day's Night to Let It Be.

Her research was spotted by Joerg Helbig, an academic at the Alps Adriatic 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ in Austria, who was looking for help compiling an encyclopaedia on the band.
