A drummer with the international metalcore rock band Enter Shikari is to be put through his paces by the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Gloucestershire's physiology department. Rob Rolfe will complete a series of physiological and psychological tests as part of a project launched in summer 2008 by Clem Burke, Blondie's drummer. The Clem Burke Drumming Project was set up in response to research by scientists at Gloucestershire and the 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ of Chichester, which showed that during live performances, professional drummers have a heart rate similar to top-level footballers during matches and expend huge amounts of energy.
